Jayce

This adorable little guy belongs to a friend of mine. He was walking all over the place at just 10 months old! He was so sweet, and his smile was super contagious :) He totally reminded me of when my 7 year old was that age... ahhhh, the sweet smell of nostalgia!

Parco kids

Now this was a fun photo session!

These 3 darlings belong to a very dear friend of mine. They are the closest things I have to nieces and nephews, so I feel very priviledged that I got to take their photos. Although it was crazy (what, with the 2 year old, 1 year old, and 1 month old), it was special. I think their mama was about to meltdown from the stress of pictures, but in all honesty, the kids weren't bad (and aren't mine!), and I was enjoying every minute :)

Chase

Welcome to the world Mr. Chasetopher!

Chase was my first newborn session, and lucky for me, he is my best friends son, so I got to snuggle him alot during our session :) He was such a good baby, and I look forward to watching him grow.

A Princess Party

I had the pleasure of photographing my friends daughters 4th birthday party..

The little princess had her birthday party at a ballet studio, and Alice in Wonderland even attended! It was the most adorable birthday party I had ever seen :)

Sheryl Maier can freeze time? Sweet!

Hello and welcome to my new venture in life!

For those of you who don't know me (and for those of you who do!), here's a little about myself:

I'm a wife. A mommy. I have the gift of gab.. and even though my gift can be my biggest curse sometimes, I think my gift is a blessing anyways. I love to love. My family and friends mean the world to me. I believe there is a God. I'm lucky enough to be a stay at home mommy - big shout out to my husband, Nathan, for working harder than ever to allow this! And because I get to stay home, I spend a good chunk of time photographing my children... and because of my love for the lens, I have decided to turn my hobby into a business. All hail Sheryl Maier Photography!

I love to capture that one moment in time, that can be held on to forever. I love to catch that candid moment, the one that you will look back on and feel as if it were just yesterday. I love to capture the emotion that you can feel when you look at that photo years down the road. It's a just a moment, frozen in time with just the click of a button. I continue to freeze the moments in my life, because when I'm gone, that's how my legacy will be told. Through these photographs.

Now its time to meet my inspiration in life... my beautiful children, and the core of my heart <3
